The percentage of children who have a part time job with school shall be calculated as the total number of children who answer "1 to 4 hours" or longer to the question "How many hours in a paid part time job do you work in a week" (numerator) divided by the total number of children who answer the question (denominator). The result shall then be multiplied by 100 and expressed as a percentage. Information gathered from a report by ICSRA that conducted a public health survey of children aged 13 to 16. The children were asked if they worked with school and how many hours.

Hlutfall barna sem starfa með skóla skal reiknað sem heildarfjöldi barna sem svara "1-4 klst" eða lengur spurningunni "Hvað vinnur þú marga tíma í launaðri vinnu með skólanum á viku" (teljari) deilt með heildarfjölda barna sem svara spurningunni (nefnari). Niðurstaðan skal margfölduð með 100 og sett fram sem prósenta. Í lýðheilsukönnun R&G má finna svar barna í 8., 9. og 10. bekk við því hvort þau vinni með skóla og hve margar klst á viku.
