17.2 Percentage of the city’s cultural records that have been digitised
17.2 Hlutfall menningarskráa sem hafa verið stafvæddar
The percentage of the city’s cultural records that have been digitised shall be calculated as the number of the city’s cultural records that have been digitised (numerator) divided by the total number of cultural records of the city (denominator). The result shall be multiplied by 100 and expressed as the percentage of cultural records that have been digitised. Digitisation shall refer to the conversion of traditional, analogue materials such as books, maps and other physical (i.e. paper records) items into an electronic, digital copy. Cultural records shall refer to the tangible cultural heritage, or the legacy of physical artefacts and texts, of a city and include movable cultural heritage (paintings, sculptures, coins, manuscripts); immovable cultural heritage (e.g. monuments, archaeological sites); and underwater cultural heritage (shipwrecks, underwater ruins and cities), if applicable[9]. The cultural record of a city is most likely vast, especially when considering the cultural record in all its myriad forms. Therefore, this indicator shall only include the tangible cultural heritage owned and/or managed by the city to ensure data accessibility. It excludes any privately owned components of a city’s cultural record. Data source: In-house data.
Hlutfall menningarskráa sem hafa verið stafvæddar skal reiknað sem fjöldi menningarskráa sem hafa verið stafvæddar (teljari) deilt með heildarfjölda menningarskráa sveitarfélagsins (nefnari). Niðurstaðan skal margfölduð með 100 og sett fram sem hlutfall menningarskráa sem hafa verið stafvæddar. Með stafvæðingu er átt við umbreytingu gagna frá hefbundnum formum eins og bókum, kortum og annara pappírsgagna yfir í stafrænt form. Gagnaveitur: Innanhús gögn.
