8.8 Hávaðamengun

Noise pollution shall be calculated by assessing the population exposed to noise pollution (the numerator), divided by the total population of the city (denominator). The result shall then be multiplied by 100 and expressed as the percentage of the population affected by noise pollution. Data source: The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration.

Hávaðamengun skal reiknuð með því að meta fjölda íbúa sem verða fyrir hávaðamengun (teljarinn) deilt með heildarfjölda íbúa sveitarfélagsins (nefnara). Niðurstaðan skal síðan margfölduð með 100 og sett fram sem hlutfall íbúa sem verða fyrir áhrifum af hávaðamengun. Gagnaveitur: Vegagerðin.
